The Story Behind Our Club

Welcome to Carleton Pathways in STEM, a student-led initiative at Carleton University. Our driving purpose is to inspire and support our peers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields to discover and pursue diverse career paths that go beyond the conventional routes typically associated with a particular STEM degree.

We acknowledge the vast scope of STEM skills, appreciating their application in numerous fields, including but not limited to research and academia. In our increasingly complex and interconnected world, the importance and versatility of STEM skills are at an all time high. These skills pave the way for an array of career opportunities, many of which students might not have thought of.

At Carleton Pathways In STEM, we create a nurturing environment where members can connect, expand their knowledge, and equip themselves for a future they are excited about. We host a variety of activities, including professional development workshops, insightful talks from speakers, innovative business pitch competitions, and valuable networking opportunities.

With a focus on out of the box thinking, we challenge and encourage our members to consider how their unique STEM skills can contribute to innovative solutions to problems. We are dedicated to empowering our members to make their mark wherever they go, guiding them on their journey to find a career they are passionate about. We are excited for what lies ahead.
